In 2014 CSIOP introduced an award for outstanding contribution to CSIOP and named it after its first recipient: Dr Joan Finegan (Western). Recipients of the Joan Finegan Award for Outstanding Contribution to CSIOP follow in her footsteps and clearly demonstrate a very high commitment to CSIOP and numerous accomplishments ensuring CSIOP's future as an association.
