How to Join CSIOP

There are a number of different types of memberships that can allow you to become a member of CSIOP. Given that we are officially a section of CPA, to gain membership in CSIOP you must get a CPA membership, and when registering, add the “Industrial/Organizational” section. Through this, you’ll get access to both the benefits of CPA membership, as well as the benefits of being a member of CSIOP. CSIOP membership can provide I/O academics and practitioners with access to resources such as liability insurance, discounted entry to events and conventions, and workshops.

The table below outlines the cost of each type of membership as of January 30, 2023. Prices are subject to change annually, so for the most up-to-date rates, we would suggest checking https://cpa.ca/membership/becomeamemberofcpa/memberrates/. The total cost of membership breaks down into the two components mentioned above: the CPA membership fee and the CSIOP section fee. For additional detail about the CPA membership types, and to decide which category of membership is most appropriate for you, please visit https://cpa.ca/membership/becomeamemberofcpa/membershiptypes/ .

Importantly, we have recently introduced a new membership category called “Section Associate”. This membership type is more affordable and allows you to become a CSIOP member, albeit with more limited benefits from CPA as a whole.
